Ultimate One Day Workshop Series & Dance

3 Great West Coast Swing Workshops
with Mary Ann Nunez & Manny Viarrial

Night Club Two-Step workshop with Jim Minty & Katie (McCaslin) Schneider

Cost: $65 for all day (dinner & dance included), until July 17th, $75 after July 17th
1 workshop: $25 (soft drink & dance included)
2 workshops: $40 (dinner & dance included)
3 workshops: $55 (dinner & dance included)
Dance only & bottled water included: $10

1:30 pm: Hitting the Music: Interpreting the music with body movements and footwork – Int. to Adv.

2:45 pm: Cool & Groovin’ Lead and Follow Moves - Int.

4:00 pm: Ultimate Challenge Surprise – Int. to Adv.
In the Ultimate Challenge instructors will choose 3 patterns to present during the first ½ hour. Leaders and followers will be separated into 2 groups.  Manny will teach leaders added styling for the 3 chosen patterns. Mary Ann will show the ladies a stylish touch to those same 3 patterns. The surprise is that neither instructor will know what is taught by the other. Leaders and followers will be joined for the second ½ hour and we’ll see how they work together! 

5:30 - 6:45 pm: Dinner & Social

7:00 pm: Night Club Two Step lesson with Jim & Katie

8 pm to Midnight: Dance music by DJ Paul Booth

Privates with Mary Ann, Manny, Jim & Katie are available. $85 per hour.

Name That Tune! 

Win prizes for your music suggestions! Send us the title and artist of a song or multiple songs you would like to hear us play at the Friday night dances and we will play it!

Email your suggestions to info@washingtondance.com.  Be sure to include the song title, the artist, the dance for which it is best suited, and if you know the name of album, send that too.  We will buy the song if we can find it, play it during the Friday Dance and let the dancers be the judge of whether it’s a keeper.  People who submit the best songs win prizes!
